When Sam’s Club poked me in the inbox and double dog dared me to create an Easter dinner menu on the grill I had no choice to accept. After all, my pride was at stake. Easter Dinner on the Grill, my latest at Digital Dads.

What’s Cooking at Digital Dads

I’m pleased to announce that I am now a contributing writer over at Digital Dads. I’ll be writing about stuff like food and fatherhood (shocking, I know) and my first post has just gone live. A big thank you to C.C. Chapman for allowing me to join the team.

Here’s a quick snippet from my first column:

Super Bowl Winning Short Ribs

Greetings, I’m PJ Mullen and I’m honored to be the newest contributor here at Digital Dads. I am a stay at home dad to two, a husband, amateur chef and prolific air drummer. I’ll be coming to you each Thursday talking about being a dad and, of course, food, which I believe is the great connector.

With the football season in full swing I thought I’d kick things off with something that can be prepared in advance and cooked while you’re busy watching your favorite team. By the time you’re ready to celebrate victory (or drown your sorrows) with beefy goodness, these short ribs will be ready to serve.

To read the full article, swing on over to the full post at Digital Dads.

Also, if you get a chance, check out Digital Dads TV on Mondays from 2:00 to 3:00PM EST over on The Pulse Network.

Caution: Introvert Blogging

Welcome to my digital home.  My name is PJ Mullen and I am a stay at home dad, husband, amateur chef, wannabe author, blogging fool, football fanatic, prolific air drummer and professional failure.  This is kind of an experiment for me to bundle together the other blogs and social networking sites with which I am currently using.

My main blog that I update regularly is Real Men Drive Minivans and is the chronicle of my life as a stay at home dad.  I am also working on an “open contributor” blog on fatherhood to be title The Dad Project, which is still very much a work in progress.

I hope at some point to utilize this site as more than just a launch point for my other online activities, but I appreciate you stopping by to my little corner of the net.

If you are on Twitter, you can follow me @pjmullen.
